Low Profile Reels Featuring Abu Garcia Baitcast Technology

SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA – One of the most popular styles of fishing reels is the low-profile baitcaster like the new Törno Series from Abu Garcia. Comfortable to the grip with Abu Garcia’s legendary quality, these new reels are designed for professional anglers but available to all.

The Törno low profile baitcast reels are designed with state-of-the-art Swedish technology and an ergonomic shape for comfort. Törno reels palm better and feel great while casting, cranking and fighting fish.
Three Törno baitcast reels are available. All feature Instant Anti-Reverse, aluminum spools, easy-out spool system, comfort thumb bars, star drag, a ceramic insert in the level wind guide and a one-piece polymeric body with internal aluminum support. Törno low profile baitcasters are equipped with crowned precision cut worm gears.

Törno reels have a line capacity of 105 yards of 12-pound test line.
The 3003 model features three stainless steel Swedish construction bearings, centrifugal brakes and soft-touch rubber grips on the cranking handle. The 9-ounce reel has a 5.3:1 gear ratio and a suggested retail price of $89.95.

The 3004HS model features four stainless steel Swedish construction bearings, externally adjusted magnetic brakes and soft-touch rubber grips. The 3004 weighs 9.1 ounces with has a high-speed retrieve ratio of 6.3:1 and a suggested retail price of $109.95.

The Törno 3006HS has six stainless steel Swedish construction bearings, externally adjusted magnetic brakes and ergonomically designed crank handle grips. The reel weighs 9.1 ounces and has a gear ratio of 6.3:1. The suggested retail price is $129.95
