The specified time refers to time on the water. If there are more than 2 people, we can schedule another boat to fish nearby, to maintain the group.

If you have a corporate or larger group outing scheduled, we can arrange that as well. We can personalize any event, even arrange a competition if you like.

Although, we specialize in Largemouth Bass fishing with artificial lures, we can also provide Berkley GULP Earthworms for the kids to catch other fish, including catfish, which get pretty big in the Potomac River. Just let us know your preference when you schedule.

We use the latest model Skeeter boats and reliable Yamaha outboards, and the BEST equipment for your fishing experience, including safety and comfort. We want you to have a great time. Check out our photo page and client comments. We help Pro's and beginners alike to reach their goals of catching fish. We let you catch the fish. Not watch us. We take care of your needs, and do everything to help you catch fish. We fish to demonstrate techniques and to establish a pattern, but you will catch the fish. We will take the time to teach you. We specialize in the youngsters-and we especially think the ladies are the best learners.

We do practice "Catch and Release", however, with the proper measurements, and a few good photos, you can have a reproduction that will preserve your catch for years to come! We can refer you to a local guy who takes pride in his work. It is a real art.

Scheduling a trip is easy. Contact us with the date and we will confirm. For a full, 3/4 or half day, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required at least 5 days in advance of your trip. If a trip is cancelled less than two weeks in advance, the full fee for the trip will be expected.

Our Cancellation Policy. If conditions are deemed by us to be unsafe, then we will work with you to reschedule. As far as rain is concerned, the fish are already wet, and with the proper raingear, you can usually expect better fishing conditions. There are fewer pleasure boaters on the water, and the fish generally bite better. I also carry extra Frogg Toggs raingear for your use.

All licenses and fees are included, except DC license. If required, the D.C. License can be purchased from us, $13.

All boats are registered by the Potomac River Fisheries Commission and the State of Maryland; operated by US Coast Guard licensed Captains and commercially insured. We are also certified in CPR and first aid.

We reserve the right to all photos taken by us on our boats.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING!
We are a complete guide service, however there are some things that you will need to bring with you. We recommend that you bring the following:

  • A Camera - The Potomac is very scenic and historic. From George Washington's home at Mount Vernon, the monuments in DC, the Pentagon, and Reagan National Airport, Fort Washington, to the picturesque natural beauty along the 60 miles of river that we fish. Expect to see bald eagles and historical landmarks up and down the river. We can take a picture of your fish, and post it on our web site.

  • Sun Block - The sun can be intense on the water. Be sure to use the appropriate SPF for your skin tone.
  • Polarized Sunglasses - Eyewear protects from the sun and from the wind while we are underway!

  • Attire - It's is always a good idea to wear loose fitting comfortable clothing. Call for weather conditions. A hat is a must…glare and warmth.

  • Your own Rod or Reels - We do provide Abu Garcia Spinning and bait casters with Berkley rods; however, if you would like to bring your own rods, or just your reel, and use our rods, that would be fine. You are responsible for lost or broken rods and reels.

  • Food and Beverages- We DO NOT provide food or beverages. Bring your own....small soft sided coolers are best...freezing bottles of water will save space and replace the need for ice...Please DO NOT bring alcohol.
